In the end it was a close call but the jury has decided. We’re thrilled to announce that Smart Dust, a project that provides users with an effective platform to use mobile devices for test purposes remotely, has won the award for the best pitch during the ReaktorX Demo Night!

ReaktorX is a remote-first program, that attracts top founders from around Europe and provides access to the tools, resources, and talent founders and corporate innovators needed to make transformational impact. ReaktorX is committed to advancing new technologies and innovations that will have a widespread impact across business, industry, and economic growth. The accelerator programme had received over 500 entries from across the Europe.

One hundred fifty investors, business angels, corporate representatives, and leaders of the most famous Polish startups watched the DemoDay on February 1 to get to know the creators of projects accelerated at ReaktorX. During the DemoDay, each startup had three minutes to present itself and two minutes to answer the jury’s questions. The top finalists presented their business proposition to the jury, including Artur Karczykowski (Sunfish Partners), Zoltan Vardy (The Launch Code), Phoebe Arkell (Supernode Global), Zbigniew Barwicz (Freya Capital).

The entries were evaluated by the panel on several parameters, including business idea, scalability, and strength of the business plan/model, business metrics in launched markets, and founding team credentials, among others.

Another winning startups and their bright ideas which you will probably hear of in the future are: TradingBull — a financial platform that supports a cryptocurrency wallet and a VR solution, serving children with special educational needs for therapy in the form of an immersive game — Unicorn VR World.

Genie uses VR technology in a headset — a well-being platform that supports mental health and helps in meditation and visualization.
